Zelenskyy arrived in Norway for an official visit

It is reported that Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre met with the President of Ukraine.

«I am very pleased to welcome Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Norway. Our country firmly supports Ukraine. Norway stands by Ukraine in its struggle for self-defense and contributes to efforts for achieving a lasting and just peace in Ukraine. I look forward to meaningful discussions on how Norway can best assist Ukraine both in the short and long term», – said Støre.

The Prime Minister of Norway also noted that all parties in the Storting recently agreed to increase funding for Ukraine.

According to the government press service, Zelenskyy and Støre will hold several meetings today. Finance Minister Jens Stoltenberg, Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide, and Defense Minister Tore Sandvik will also participate in the working meeting alongside the delegation accompanying the President of Ukraine.

For security reasons, details of Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s program in Norway are not disclosed.
