According to the land schemes of Kyiv, Stepan Chernovetskyi is behind them: Mykytas made loud statements
Former member of parliament and ex-head of the company «Ukrbud» Maksym Mykytas made sensational claims in his recent social media posts, pointing to the connection between Denys Komarnytskyi, known as the «supervisor» of Kyiv, and Stepan Chernovetskyi, the son of former mayor of the capital, Leonid Chernovetskyi.
According to Mykytas, behind Komarnytskyi stand not only the shadow of his father, known as «Lyonya Kosmos», but also significant financial resources of Stepan Chernovetskyi, which contributed to forming a controlled deputy corps in the Kyiv City Council and deploying large-scale schemes for the «mastery» of the capital.
Mykytas notes that in 2020 Denys Komarnytskyi did not yet have a sufficient financial base for independent political influence. The formation of a convenient composition of the Kyiv Council, he says, became possible thanks to significant funds provided, in particular, by Stepan Chernovetskyi. The «young cosmonaut», as Mykytas calls him, was one of the key beneficiaries of the mafia structure that created a political «roof» for dealings in the capital. These schemes, according to the ex-MP, encompassed not only land issues but also control over many spheres of Kyiv life.
Mykytas considers the IQ Center to be a symbolic hub of this activity – a business complex in Kyiv where Komarnytskyi’s offices and others involved were located. «Those in the know will understand the rest», he adds, hinting at a deeper network of connections. According to him, the role of the Chernovetskyi family in these processes was not secondary, and Stepan Chernovetskyi played almost a leading role in financing and coordination.
Separately, Mykytas draws attention to Stepan Chernovetskyi’s involvement in the embezzlement of Ukrbud’s assets, the company he himself headed until its collapse. According to him, after 17 suspicions were handed over to other participants in the scheme, the turn comes to the next figures, including the younger Chernovetskyi. «The list of those who profited from the plunder of ’Ukrbud’ is long», Mykytas notes, promising to provide evidence with authentic signatures later.
The ex-MP claims that information about the Chernovetskyis’ dealings will reach London, Spain, and business and law enforcement circles, where Stepan Chernovetskyi tries to conduct his affairs. «In London, in ’his’ Spain, they have to learn about these dealings», he emphasizes.
Adding intrigue, Mykytas announces a «spicy story» about Stepan Chernovetskyi’s adventures in Spain, where, according to him, «Moroccan tanks or Belarusian tractors» are involved. What exactly hides behind these mysterious mentions, he promises to reveal later, stressing: «That’s a whole different story».
Mykytas also claimed that Komarnytskyi is a “real rat”. Allegedly, the businessman lent him 2 million dollars through LLC "Eko-Bud-Trade", acquiring 40% of the company registered under his friend’s name.
And how Komar then sang and danced around us in Ukrbud – there was no hiding from his compliments and flattery. But as soon as Ukrbud began to have problems, it was as if he vanished, immediately switching to ’frost’ mode. And when the battle for Ukrbud with raiders flared up, he sneakily sought only how to further profit. Leaking everything and everyone. Then, when they finally removed me from their path to the pre-trial detention center, I simply and humanly approached Komar and asked to return the initial funds – without profits, without bonuses, etc. Although that amount had already multiplied on his projects.
Denys Komarnytskyi has long been associated with influence over Kyiv during the tenure of Mayor Vitaliy Klychko. He is referred to as the «supervisor» of the capital, and the connection with the Chernovetskyis only strengthens this image. Leonid Chernovetskyi, known for his eccentric behavior and scandalous decisions as mayor from 2006 to 2012, left a controversial legacy, including numerous allegations of corruption. His son Stepan, according to media reports, is actively involved in business abroad, particularly in Spain, where the family owns assets.
