Zelenskyy on the peacekeeping contingent: there are many proposals, and their number has increased

This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a press conference following the results of the "coalition of the willing" summit in Paris.

"Regarding the contingent. There are many proposals from leaders, and they have increased. The number of countries willing to … Some are in the sky, some in air defense, some really ’on the ground’, some at sea providing security guarantees to Ukraine without sending their contingent is growing. This is good news," Zelenskyy said.

According to him, "some may still join" the initiative of France and Britain regarding the contingent.

"These countries will join to ’look at the basis prepared by Ukraine - how we see it, where we see it, the quantitative composition of the contingent - to start this dialogue more substantively," the president added.
