Destroying the Crimean Bridge is possible, but silence is needed, - Neyizhpapa

The Crimean bridge remains a target for Ukrainian military forces, but during the preparation of its destruction, informational silence is necessary, said the Commander of the Naval Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Neyizhpapa.

"Of course, the bridge is a complex target, especially now. But in life, there is no fortress that cannot be destroyed. There are no borders that cannot be crossed. So, the bridge is just another target, like any other," he said in an interview with the Radio Svoboda project "Crimea. Realities".

At the same time, the Naval Forces Commander emphasized that informational silence is necessary for planning important military operations.

"For success, always. If we announce that tomorrow we will strike the Crimean bridge, then the enemy will probably find out about it through television. Or if we say we won’t strike. That’s not correct," Neyizhpapa noted.

He also stressed that the number of Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes on Crimea has not decreased, although they might have become less intense.

"I haven’t conducted such an analysis, whether more or less. Everything is working as normal, like on other fronts. So, there are targets in Crimea and in other regions where the enemy is present, of course," he added.
