Zelenskyy spoke about the expansion of "Mriya": the application will be implemented in kindergartens and universities of Ukraine

This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, at the EdTech event "Mriya - Post-education".

"Mriya" in kindergartens

As the president noted, this year "Mriya" is expanding throughout Ukraine. In particular, a pilot project is being launched for preschool education.

Zelenskyy emphasized that educators in kindergartens spend about 10 hours a week on routine tasks unrelated to children’s education. Almost 90% of administrations prepare reports manually, and parents cannot find out what their child is learning.

"Mriya" for preschool education will change everything... Educators will receive ready-made materials and automated administration planning, analytics, and paperless accounting, while parents will have complete transparency of their child’s time in the kindergarten and peace of mind about their children. In 2025, piloting will begin, and the following year "Mriya" will be scaled to all willing kindergartens," explained the president.

Extracurricular activities

Zelenskyy also promised that extracurricular clubs, gyms, swimming pools, museums, and libraries would be added to "Mriya".

"All of this will be directly in "Mriya" with the ability to sign up and add a specific activity to the children’s plan," he added.

Higher education

Also, according to the head of state, "Mriya" will be expanded to vocational and higher education so that the application is available for the entire Ukrainian education system.

The president emphasized that such an initiative is scheduled for next year.

What will be added to "Mriya"

Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov spoke about the innovations in "Mriya" that have already been implemented and planned to be added over time:

• Learning outcomes that allow parents to track the child’s development in all subjects;
• Generation of "Mriya.ID" - a document that will be used in various life situations;
• Viewing the day’s plan;
• Homework;
• Content library;
• Working with lesson plans for teachers;
• A bonus system for children who do not skip classes and receive good grades.
