Bohdan Krotevych stated that "Syrskyi must go"
Former Azov Chief of Staff Bohdan "Tavr" Krotevych called on Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi to resign.
"Syrskyi must go," the military officer stated in an interview with The Guardian.
He accuses the military leadership of issuing orders that are on the verge of crime and of "criminal responsibility for not understanding the principles of warfare at this time," particularly "how FPV drones work, how gliding bombs work."
"I began receiving orders from the higher military command, from the Commander-in-Chief’s Staff, which were increasingly close to criminal, orders that I, by conscience, could not execute," Krotevych said.
Specifically, according to him, the General Staff ordered soldiers after rotation from the front lines to rest 50 meters from the front line, putting all soldiers at risk.
He also believes that Syrskyi paid too much attention to the offensive in the Kursk region, "meanwhile, we had enormous problems" defending Pokrovsk, and that "we stayed there too long."
"Syrskyi does not try to apply the high science and art of war; he has only two functions: if the enemy advances – just send more people there. And if the enemy gains the upper hand – withdraw people and say that you are caring for the soldiers’ lives."
