The Zakarpattia Court of Appeal returned the supercar to the Russian oligarch Orlov - the car has already been taken away

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG with "gullwing" doors, owned by Russian restaurateur and producer Alexander Orlov, has already been retrieved from the impound lot in Zakarpattia.

On April 29, the court lifted the arrest imposed by the Berehove district court and acknowledged that:

•  the car is not material evidence;
•  it was not linked to criminal activities;
• using foreign plates and the lack of Ukrainian registration is not a reason for arrest.

The vehicle was detained on February 13 when an attempt was made to illegally transport it to Hungary with Russian Federation symbols. Now it has been officially returned to the owner.

The decision is not subject to appeal.
