The 100th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered losses during an unsuccessful counterattack — DeepState

The 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Toretsk carried out an "extremely unsuccessful counterattack," suffering significant losses, reports DeepState.

"Recently, the fighters of the 100th SMB launched a ’counterattack’ in the city of Toretsk, and it turned out to be extremely unsuccessful, bringing us numerous losses and providing the enemy with a tactical and informational advantage in Toretsk, which was already filled with heavy fighting," the public writes.

According to DS, the command made a "series of fatal mistakes":

– the use of a large amount of equipment moving at high speed sequentially across open terrain, which allowed Russian FPV drones to "organize a safari";

– a lack of proper calculation of the necessary resources for the operation, in particular: artillery, which did not have enough shells to support the maneuvers of equipment and infantry;

– based on the analysis of the movement and subsequent actions of our forces: the absence of specifically planned steps for unforeseen circumstances (simply put, a Plan B), which led to a chaotic situation and the inability to assess the situation around. It is necessary to think in advance about a successful maneuver, paying attention to important details.

"On the Internet, there are attempts to present these events as ’successful,’ but in the information age, this cannot be hidden with headlines, and the fallen fighters who gave their lives for this absurd situation cannot be returned," DS summarizes.

Earlier, Russian military publics reported that Ukrainian troops suffered heavy losses during the counterattack in Toretsk.
