Reform in jeopardy: the Bureau of Economic Security may again be led by "insiders," — media

The competition for the Director of the Bureau of Economic Security is in the final stretch.

This is reported by "Ukrainian Pravda".

Among the 16 candidates are figures from the past: representatives of law enforcement agencies, people from the orbit of the President’s Office, and associates of Akhmetov.

The outcome will determine whether it will be possible to relaunch the Bureau and finally put an end to the shadow schemes through which the budget loses up to 100 billion UAH annually.

However, there is a risk that history will repeat itself — with the winner being decided even before the final.
