Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Crown Prince of Norway, who is visiting Ukraine for the first time

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy received Crown Prince Haakon of Norway in Kyiv, who is visiting Ukraine for the first time.

He shared this on his X.

Zelenskyy reported about the meeting and noted that the Crown Prince’s visit to Ukraine began with a visit to a rehabilitation center in Irpin, where Ukrainian soldiers are recovering from injuries. 

"During the meeting, we discussed strengthening energy resilience. We appreciate the 450 million dollars – Norway’s contribution to Ukraine’s energy security. We also talked separately about strengthening cultural ties between our countries and investments in the defence sector. We have strong potential in all directions," – stated the President. 

"Thank you to Norway and the Norwegian people for their constant support of Ukraine," – he added. 

I met with Crown Prince Haakon of Norway. The Crown Prince began his first visit to Ukraine by visiting a rehabilitation center in Irpin. I am grateful for this meaningful gesture of attention and support for our people.
