On the night of June 1, a series of explosions occurred in Russia’s Murmansk region, local residents report.

The incident occurred in the area of the settlement of Vysokiy, where the strategically important Olenya airbase is located. Thick black smoke is rising above the airfield territory.

According to preliminary data, the object may have become the latest target of drone strikes. The Russian authorities have not yet officially commented on the incident, but local Telegram channels are actively sharing videos of the smoke and loud explosions.
