The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) found former judge of the dissolved Kyiv District Administrative Court Olena Vlasenkova guilty of receiving 2,000 dollars as an illicit benefit.

By the court’s decision, Vlasenkova was sentenced to 5.5 years of imprisonment and prohibited from holding positions in government bodies for a period of 3 years. The court also decided to confiscate all property belonging to her by right of ownership.

Until the verdict becomes legally binding, the accused will remain under preventive measures in the form of bail. She is also subject to additional obligations, including wearing an electronic bracelet.
