Ukrainians are being deceived by fake aid from the Red Cross

Ukrainians have started to be deceived by promises of fake aid from the Red Cross – fraudsters are creating fake websites and collecting personal data. To avoid falling into the trap, do not follow suspicious links and do not enter personal or banking information.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Red Cross.

Once again, Ukrainians are being attempted to be deceived – this time under the guise of financial aid from international organizations.

The Red Cross has officially warned about the widespread dissemination of fake information related to promises of payments. Fraudsters are using fake websites to extract personal and banking data from citizens.

The messages circulating on social networks and messengers claim that financial aid can supposedly be received right now – all you need to do is follow the link and enter your personal data. One such site, listingguruhelp.icu/bank, is actively disguising itself as a resource affiliated with the Red Cross.

The organization has clearly stated that all mentioned actions are fraudulent, and the site has no connection to it or its partners. Providing personal information on such fake platforms poses a direct threat to users’ financial security. "This is fraud! The site listingguruhelp.icu/bank has no connection to the Ukrainian Red Cross, and all the actions mentioned there are fraudulent," the organization stated in an official statement.

The Red Cross urges Ukrainians to remain vigilant and only use official sources of information. All current information about legitimate aid programs is posted exclusively on the official website. In case of doubts or suspicious messages, it is worth contacting the support service. It is also important to remember that no official international organization will request the entry of banking passwords, CVV codes, or other confidential details through third-party sites.
