Zelenskyy explained the situation regarding the transfer of Patriot air defence systems to Ukraine from Israel

Zelenskyy reported that Israel sent one Patriot air defence system to the USA for repair, but this surface-to-air missile system has not yet been provided to Ukraine.

The day before, while speaking with journalists, Zelenskyy noted that Patriot systems from Israel "have not yet been seen on Ukrainian territory."

"We are grateful that this is supposedly for us. Supposedly because it’s not with us yet. If it were with us, I would say — yes, Israel has given it to us, and it wouldn’t be necessary to explain this long chain of events, through whom and for what purpose it is being delivered. It went to America for restoration. This system has not yet arrived in Ukraine from America," the president clarified.

Earlier, the Israeli ambassador to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky, reported on the transfer of Patriot systems to Kyiv, but the Israeli Foreign Ministry denied his statement.
