Board member of "Naftogaz" Volodin has been taken into custody: bail is set at 20 million hryvnias

The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) took Naftogaz board member Volodin into custody with an alternative of bail set at 20 million UAH.

A HACC judge arrested former State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy Vasyl Volodin with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 20 million UAH.

Currently, Volodin holds the position of a board member of NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine".

In case bail is posted, Volodin will be required to:
- appear upon the summons of the court, prosecutor, and detective;
- not leave the borders of Kyiv and the region without permission;
- refrain from communicating with certain individuals, including former Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov;
- surrender his foreign passports;
- wear an electronic bracelet.
