Russian forces have intensified assaults in the Kharkiv region, - Fedorenko

Russian occupation forces have intensified assault operations in the Kupyansk direction, in the area of the city of Vovchansk and in zones bordering the Sumy region, reports the commander of the 429th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment "Achilles," Yuriy Fedorenko, in a comment to "Espresso".

According to him, the aggressor country’s army actively uses drones for reconnaissance and provides fire support to its units, as well as intensifying shelling of frontline towns and villages.

He noted that Ukrainian forces are doing everything possible to hold back the Russian advance. The defence forces are shooting down their reconnaissance drones in order to deprive the occupiers of the ability to adjust fire on Ukrainian positions.

Fedorenko also pointed out that Russia has reduced the military training period for its soldiers from 45 to 14 days.

"The task of enemy infantry is to constantly maneuver, trying to break through our combat formations," the military explained.

The commander added that due to significant losses of armored vehicles, assault groups have increasingly started using motorcycles and buggies.
