The Court of Appeal kept the deputy of the Zakarpattia Regional Council, Antal, in custody

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has kept under arrest the deputy of the Transcarpathian Regional Council from the "For the Future" party, Oleksandr Antal, in the case of organizing a scheme for the illegal transfer of people across the state border and abuse of influence.

This information is reported by the press service of the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC), without disclosing the politician’s name.

According to the media, it is precisely about Oleksandr Antal. The Anti-Corruption Court, as known, arrested the deputy of the Transcarpathian Regional Council with the option of an alternative bail in the amount of 21.2 million UAH. The defence side filed an appeal.

"The Appeals Chamber of the HACC reviewed the appeal of the defence side against the decision of the HACC investigating judge dated 28.05.2025 regarding the application of a preventive measure to the deputy of the Transcarpathian Regional Council in the form of detention with the possibility of posting 21.2 million UAH bail. Based on the review, the panel of judges of the HACC Appeals Chamber left the appeal unsatisfied, and the decision of the HACC investigating judge unchanged," the decision states.
