Ukrainian defenders continue to disarm the occupying Russian forces. Recently, they destroyed another Russian "Buk-M1" SAM worth about 10 million dollars.

The occupiers tried to hide the system in a forest plantation, but unsuccessfully: Ukrainian drones detected the "Buk" on its way to the shelter. Impressive footage of the work by the "Chornyi Lis" brigade and the 413th separate drone systems battalion "Raid" was presented by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Another Russian "Buk-M1" SAM worth about 10 million dollars has been destroyed. The video shows the joint operation of the "Chornyi Lis" brigade and the 413th separate drone systems battalion "Raid".

Participants of the operation emphasized: "When modern, technological, and motivated units act collectively, the result does not keep you waiting."

The video shows how Ukrainian military personnel used drones to "lead" the Russian "Buk-M1" to a small forest strip, where the Russians had already prepared a concealed shelter.

It was there that punishment from the sky, activated by Ukrainian defenders, arrived. As seen in the published footage, the enemy system completely burned down.

The exact direction where the devastating strike was carried out is not specified.

The Soviet self-propelled anti-aircraft missile system "Buk" is designed to counter maneuverable aerodynamic targets – cruise missiles, guided bombs, aircraft, helicopters, UAVs, and others – at low and medium altitudes (from 30 m to 14-18 km) under conditions of intense radio interference.

Work on it began back in 1972, with the main developer being the Research Institute of Instrument Engineering. The first modification of the new complex was put into service in 1979. Since then, various modifications of the system have been created, among them – "Buk-M1-2," "Buk-M2," "Buk-M3".

It was with the "Buk-M1" that Russian forces shot down a Malaysian Airlines passenger plane, flight MH17, on July 17, 2014, over the Donetsk region. At that time, 283 passengers and 15 crew members died.

During the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian military personnel have repeatedly captured or destroyed various elements of the system (command posts, radars, transport-loading vehicles, launchers, etc.) of different "Buk" models.
