In Chernivtsi, 74-year-old Vasyl Klypych, a resident of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, who was injured as a result of the Russian strike on the city on July 12, has passed away.

This was reported in Telegram by the head of Chernivtsi Regional State Administration, Ruslan Zaparanyuk.

"Unfortunately, we have another victim as a result of the Russian strike on Chernivtsi on July 12. 74-year-old Vasyl Klypych, a resident of Snyatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk region, passed away in the hospital today," the message states.

Zaparanyuk noted that doctors fought for almost five days to save the injured man. However, due to multiple shrapnel wounds, they were unable to save him.

Thus, the number of victims of the Russian attack on July 12 has increased to three.
