Russia is moving reserves to the Pokrovsk direction to replace exhausted units - Airborne Forces

This was reported by the press service of the 7th Corps of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

"South of Pokrovsk, a ’volunteer’ brigade – ’BARS’ – is being deployed. In this way, the Russians are replacing the exhausted assault units of other formations that were operating in this area," the military explains.

As noted, according to messages from Russian channels, this is a newly formed brigade, staffed in 2024 with unreliable categories of the population.

According to the military, the new forces are arriving without equipment and heavy weaponry.

"Their predecessors, who were supposed to break through Ukrainian defenses, are now ’resting’ in the deepest ’reserve’ position — in the ground.
