President of Poland Nawrocki proposed imprisonment for displaying symbols of the OUN-UPA

The President of Poland proposed imprisonment for displaying symbols of the OUN-UPA.

He called the Bandera followers from the OUN-UPA "murderers and perverts".

"These symbols (of Bandera - Ed.) are unacceptable in public spaces in Poland, and we are obliged to respond to such manifestations by simply deporting such individuals. We know that in Ukraine, even within the state education system, the symbolism of Bandera is not interpreted in accordance with historical data. These were murderers and perverts. It must be noted that they are responsible for the deaths of about 120,000 people, including our compatriots, our ancestors. Therefore, regardless of the reason for this shameful behavior (displaying OUN-UPA flags at Korzh’s concert in Warsaw), we are obliged to react decisively and adopt the bill under consideration in the Polish parliament to criminalize these actions and prevent such situations from recurring," said Nawrocki.
