The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery and several important Russian facilities

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On the night of August 21, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with other defense components, struck the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Products Plant in the Rostov region. This is one of the main fuel suppliers for southern Russia and supports the aggressor’s military units.

The plant’s reservoirs hold over 210,000 cubic meters. The General Staff reported numerous explosions following the strike on the target.

In addition, hits were recorded at a fuel and lubricant base in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation, which also impacts the logistical resources of Russian troops.

The results of the fire damage are being clarified, but the attack has already significantly reduced the enemy’s potential in fuel supply and drone usage.

Simultaneously, units of the Special Operations Forces attacked a drone storage facility and a logistics hub in temporarily occupied Donetsk. The strike caused numerous explosions and significantly limited the enemy’s capabilities regarding long-range UAVs.
