Zelenskyy: Russia will lose millions if it continues its offensive in Donbas

President Zelenskyy made this statement during a joint briefing with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

The President of Ukraine emphasized that no guarantees from Putin can be trusted due to his repeated lies.

Even if someone supports the absurd proposal to withdraw Ukrainian troops from Donbas, who can guarantee that Russia will stop? No one, – the President declared.

Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine will not agree to any compromises that involve surrendering territories. At the same time, the decision to continue attempts to capture Donbas could result in millions of losses for the Russian army.

He added that trust in the Russian leader is completely absent under any circumstances. For Ukraine, the importance of its native lands is far greater than just a territorial issue.

For some, it’s just territory, but for us, it’s our life, history, and Constitution. There are many aspects that are very sensitive for Ukraine, – Zelenskyy concluded.
