Russians may soon seize the Slovyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration thanks to drones.

He notes that Russian FPV drones have begun striking targets at a distance of 40-50 km from the front line.

“After several days of attacks on civilian vehicles on the Izyum-Slovyansk highway, it was relatively safe to travel from Izyum to Slovyansk or from Dnipro to Slovyansk (Kramatorsk) via Barvinkove. Yesterday, the enemy, using an FPV drone, hit a vehicle on the Barvinkove-Slovyansk highway, approximately 40-50 km from the combat line. (It seems that ’queen’ drones drop FPVs deep in the rear.) Other more southern routes were already under fire earlier,” Aronets writes.

In his opinion, “disrupting logistics in the Kramatorsk agglomeration is not even halfway to the complete occupation of Donbas.”

“Barriers on the roads are what should have been done yesterday. There are also other necessary measures that colleagues have discussed. But it is necessary to react quickly. Otherwise, the occupation of Kramatorsk, Slovyansk, Druzhkivka, and Kostyantynivka will be a matter of the near future,” he added.

“The enemy is already preparing for a large-scale offensive in Donbas, and the first step was another study of directions and search for opportunities to fully control logistic routes in Slovyansk and Kramatorsk. Fire pressure on these roads is quite a difficult task since they are located relatively far from the front, but nevertheless have negative consequences for us,” he wrote.
