In the Lviv district, police detained a 34-year-old man from the Donetsk region who was supplying drugs to a correctional colony. Interestingly, he delivered them to the colony in the form of carrots.
This was reported by the Lviv regional police. As noted, the perpetrator initially acquired and "stored with the intent to distribute" the psychotropic PVP, as well as methadone, buprenorphine, and cannabis.

"He then packaged them into six bundles, which he placed in two carrots, and sent them along with other food products to one of the correctional colonies in the Rivne region," law enforcement officials noted and showed how it was done.

During a search at the suspect’s place of residence, other narcotic and psychotropic substances were found and seized. The seized items have been sent for examination.

The man has been charged with illegal drug trafficking under Part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to ten years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
