Zelenskyy met with Tokayev: Discussed peace and the restoration of Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the leader of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The parties discussed efforts to end the war and cooperation between the countries.

This was reported by the Telegram channel of the head of state.

Zelenskyy emphasized that the key task now is to achieve a just and lasting peace with reliable security guarantees.

The president also stated that he discussed with Tokayev efforts to end the war, as well as issues of cooperation between Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

"We discussed in detail the efforts of Ukraine, the USA, Europe, and other partners worldwide to end this war and stop the killings. We also touched upon trade and economic cooperation, as well as the interest of Kazakhstani companies in participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine," the head of state informed.

Additionally, Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
