Zelenskyy and Rutte discussed the supply of defensive weapons through the PURL program

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte the consequences of the Russian attack on Ukraine, as well as the PURL program.

The head of state reported this on social media.

"I am grateful for the support. I spoke about today’s vile Russian attack – strike drones, missiles, including ballistic ones," the president’s message reads.

The parties discussed the NATO PURL program, which is important for Ukraine.

"It (the PURL program, - ed.) is already moving forward well. We discussed how to further expand it, what exactly to include in it, and how to involve other countries. This program helps Ukraine purchase the very weapons that protect people’s lives. Thank you!" Zelenskyy adds.
