Svyrydenko: All procedures for the start of the heating season must be completed by October 15
Ukraine’s Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko held a meeting with the heads of regional military administrations (RMAs) regarding preparations for winter. According to her, all procedures necessary for the start of the heating season are planned to be completed by October 15.

Svyrydenko emphasized that ensuring a stable heating season is a key issue, especially in light of the ongoing Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.

Quick response: The response to damages must be swift to ensure the population has access to light and heat regardless of enemy actions.

Priority to frontline regions: Special attention is given to frontline regions. The government has instructed to ensure uninterrupted gas and electricity supply to enterprises that form the life support system in frontline communities.

"Points of Invincibility": The readiness of the network of "Points of Invincibility" is being checked, and conditions are being created for their continuous operation.

Distributed generation: Special focus is placed on increasing the capacity of distributed generation.
The Prime Minister did not specify the exact start date of the heating season, as it usually begins after the average daily air temperature remains below 8 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days.
