Ukraine and Lithuania signed a memorandum on the protection of critical infrastructure
Ukraine and Lithuania signed a memorandum to enhance cooperation in the field of critical infrastructure protection.
This was reported by the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.
The document was signed by the Head of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, Oleksandr Potiy, and the Chief Advisor of the Lithuanian Government Office, Vidmantas Kaladinskas.
The memorandum envisages the exchange of experience in the field of critical infrastructure protection planning, as well as the organization of joint seminars and trainings to share best practices in protecting critical infrastructure facilities.
Additionally, Lithuania will support Ukraine in improving legislation on critical infrastructure protection, including through the implementation of modern international standards and requirements of EU Directive 2022/2557 dated December 14, 2022.
Both parties emphasized the importance of such cooperation, especially under wartime conditions, and assured their support within the framework of the signed document.
