Zelenskyy: A meeting with Trump could really bring the war closer to an end

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine has already worked on the military and economic aspects of the upcoming meeting with Trump. The meeting itself promises to be quite substantial.

"This can really bring the end of the war closer: it is the United States that has the ability for such a global influence, and we are doing everything to ensure that others in the world are on the same side with us in this work," Zelenskyy intrigued.

The President added that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliya Svyrydenko, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Kyslytsya, Ambassador of Ukraine Olha Stefanishina, and other officials are currently in the USA.

"Meetings at their level have already started in Washington, preparing the foundation for the conversation with the leader of the United States, as well as with American defense companies, particularly air defense manufacturers, and with representatives of energy companies," Zelenskyy reported.
