Deputy Director of NABU received 257 thousand hryvnia grant from the US Embassy

NABU Deputy Director Polina Lysenko received a quarter of a million grant from the US Embassy last year. This is evidenced by her income statement for 2023.

She declared that last year she received 257.5 thousand hryvnia in grants from the American Embassy.

Her salary for 2023 as deputy director of NABU amounted to almost 2 million hryvnia. Lysenko’s husband Denys, who works in the Office of the Prosecutor General, earned 1.4 million hryvnia last year.

In 2022, Lysenko received a 350 thousand hryvnia grant from the US Embassy.

In 2023, the former head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Lysenko, was appointed to the bureau. The new deputy director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, Polina Lysenko, receives about 180 thousand hryvnia in salary.

Lysenko worked in the NABU team in 2015-2019. After that, she headed the department of international legal cooperation and asset recovery of the Office of the Prosecutor General (2019-2020), led the project for the development of the judicial branch of government and international cooperation of the Office of Simple Solutions and Results, headed the department of information policy and public relations of the JSC (2020-2021) , and headed the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defence Council (2021-2023).
