The city of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region, is being shelled by Russian occupation forces with phosphorus shells. Last week there were many such attacks on the private sector, and this week phosphorus flew through garages and private houses.

“The situation in the city is consistently difficult. It’s actually the third week of the peak and it’s not decreasing, but it’s not increasing either,” says Chaus.

The head of the CMA said that 690 people still remain in the community. These are mainly people over 65 years old, there are also young people, but there are very few of them. It is difficult to evacuate the city due to the work of enemy drones, and there are few people willing to leave. Over the course of a week, about ten local residents were evacuated.

Chaus noted that Russian troops are shelling Chasiv Yar with all available weapons. The military administration brings humanitarian aid and bread to the city.
