OSTG "Khortytsia": The enemy is advancing beyond the Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka highway

Russian troops are intensively advancing towards the Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka highway, which is located east of the city of Pokrovsk.

This was reported during the telethon by the spokesperson of the "Khortytsia" Operational Command, Viktor Trehubov.

"The occupiers are currently advancing from the eastern side towards the target - the agglomeration (Pokrovsk - ed.) and are actively moving towards this very Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka highway with very large forces, which runs east of the city of Pokrovsk. This could provide them with two possibilities if they make significant progress to the north," Trehubov noted.

According to him, one of these possibilities is to try again to bypass the city of Pokrovsk - the Pokrovsk agglomeration - but from the other side, from the eastern side of the agglomeration, or to move towards the city of Kostyantynivka and surround it from the western side. This could also create an opportunity for the Russian army to advance northward.

"Overall, any of these options is undesirable, and some of these options open up operational opportunities for them, so we must prevent them from realizing and developing such a breakthrough," Trehubov emphasized.
