SES and rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the shelling of Zaporizhzhya

As a result of the shelling of Zaporizhzhya by Russians, more than ten people have been injured, including children. Dozens of rescuers were working at the scene of the incident.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Fedorov noted that, according to the latest data, 13 people, including two children, were injured as a result of the nighttime shelling of the city.

"The injured children, aged 4 and 17, are under medical supervision. Unfortunately, one person, a 41-year-old man, has died," Fedorov stated.

The head of the Regional Military Administration added that the injured continue to seek medical assistance.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the shelling caused large-scale fires: the fire engulfed three residential buildings covering an area of 350 m², two trucks in a parking lot, and a technical service station spanning 600 m².

A total of 78 rescuers and 17 units of equipment were involved in mitigating the consequences. All emergency services were working at the scene. The number of injured is still being clarified.
